Amrita Vidyalayam, Chavakkad conducted a collage competition for the students of Classes VI, VII, and VIII on 12 June 2026 in observance of the World Day Against Child Labour. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about child labour and the importance of ensuring education, safety, and equal opportunities for all children.
The competition was held in the E-Learning Lab from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Students from the four houses of the school actively participated in the event. The participants prepared creative and informative collages highlighting the harmful effects of child labour, children's rights, and the significance of education in building a better future.
The students displayed great enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork while preparing their collages. Their work reflected a clear understanding of the theme and effectively conveyed messages against child labour. Teachers supervised and encouraged the participants throughout the programme.

The collage competition was a meaningful and successful activity that helped students develop social awareness and creative skills.
