As part of our ongoing efforts to provide holistic education, our school conducted a nature walk for Class 1 and 2 students on October 30th as a bagless activity. The objective was to encourage students to connect with nature, develop observational skills, and learn through experiential education.During the nature walk, students observed and appreciated the diverse flora and fauna, developing a deeper understanding of the importance of conservation and sustainability. The activity promoted teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking among the students.Students developed a greater appreciation for nature and its significance in our lives.-Students were able to connect theoretical concepts to real-life experiences.
We believe that such activities are essential for the overall development of our students. We look forward to conducting more such initiatives in the future.

Our School's Annual Sports Day was held on 13th and 14th November at the school grounds. The event was a grand success, with students from classes 3 to 10 participating in various sports and games. We were honored with the presence of Prashant Sir who addressed the gathering sharing tips and insights to our students. After the chief guest salute,there was the March Past where each house performed to their best.
After the Olympic Torch Relay, the Athletic Oath was taken by all our students.Our Principal and Chief Guest declared the Sports Meet Open and encouraged the students to participate and showcase their talents.The events included 100m, 200m, 400m,1500 m races,relays, long jump, high jump, shot put, discus throw and javelin throw. There was also a team football match after Athletics.The students participated with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, cheering each other on and making the event a memorable one. The winners were awarded medals and certificates. Overall, it was a fun-filled day, and we look forward to next year's Sports Day!

Amrita Vidyalayam Cheruthuruthy celebrated National Colours Day on October 22nd Wednesday. It was a memorable day for students of KG,1st and 2nd.All the kids were in colourful attire.They danced and did a ramp walk and some craft works were also done by them.Kids enjoyed a lot with music and dance.

Our school celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The ceremony began with the flag hoisting by the Academic Advisor Mrs. Rohini Jayaram, Vice Principal Mrs. Jayasree M S, and Physical Education Teacher Mr. Raj M, followed by patriotic songs. A disciplined band display and a colourful procession added grandeur to the event. Devangana P. S. of Class XII, dressed as Bharat Mata, captivated the audience and enhanced the patriotic spirit.The chief guest, Mr. Jadeer P. M., Civil Excise Officer and Vimukthi Coordinator, delivered an inspiring message on independence and the importance of a healthy, addiction-free life. Meenakshi M. Kumar of Class XI led the Anti-Drug Pledge.
Students of KG–4 participated in speech and skit competitions that reflected their creativity and love for the nation. Various competitions such as fancy dress, National Anthem, and patriotic songs further encouraged patriotism and talent.

The Ramayana Month began with an inspiring talk by Ms. Sheela V.D, the retired Head of the English Department, on the timeless values of the Ramayana and its relevance in our daily lives. She also highlighted the sacredness and spiritual power of chanting. The session concluded with a serene moment as she, along with the teachers and students, chanted verses from the Ramayana, filling the atmosphere with devotion and peace.

To spread the timeless values and profound teachings of the Ramayanam, our school proudly hosted an Inter-School Ramayana Competition. The event brought together students from various nearby schools, each showcasing their talent, devotion, and understanding of this great epic.The competition not only highlighted the artistic abilities of the students but also deepened their appreciation for India’s cultural heritage.

Sanskrit Day was celebrated in Amrita Vidyalayam, Kodungallur with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour. Jagannath S. Menon of Class VI captivated the audience by dressing up as Sri Adi Shankaracharya and delivering a graceful presentation that reminded everyone of the richness of our cultural heritage. The students of Class VIII enthralled the audience with a beautiful dance performance set to a Sanskrit song, showcasing the elegance and depth of the language. The entire programme reflected the importance of Sanskrit as the mother of Indian languages and inspired everyone to value its timeless significance.

The school campus was filled with pride and excitement as we celebrated the Graduation Day of our UKG students. The ceremony began with a prayer, creating a serene and auspicious atmosphere for the occasion. Dressed in their miniature graduation gowns and caps, the young graduates marched into the hall to the sound of applause, radiating confidence and joy. The event was officially inaugurated by Respected Swamini and the Principal ma'am by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Swamini delivered an inspiring message highlighting that a disciplined life is the foundation of success and encouraged parents to cultivate good habits and values in children from an early age.
Following this, the Principal ma'am addressed the gathering and congratulated the young graduates for completing their first stage of schooling. She appreciated the trust and support of the parents and acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the teachers in nurturing the children with love and care. She also encouraged the children to move forward with curiosity, kindness, and confidence as they step into Grade One.
The ceremony continued with the distribution of graduation certificates, marking an important milestone in the students’ learning journey. The programme concluded with the distribution of prasad by Swamini to the students, parents, and teachers. This was followed by a class-wise photo session, after which the students were dispersed.
Graduation Day was not just a farewell to the UKG wing but a celebration of new beginnings, and we look forward to seeing these bright young minds flourish in the years ahead.

Raksha Bandhan, a traditional Hindu festival symbolizing the bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. Sisters performed the aarathi and tied the rakhi on their brothers' wrists, symbolizing their love and prayers for their brothers' well-being. They also fed their brothers sweets as a gesture of affection, The brothers, in turn, showered their sisters with blessings, promising to protect and support them throughout their lives.
