On 26 January 2026, our school gathered with great patriotic fervour to celebrate the 77th Republic Day of India. Students and staff participated enthusiastically in the programme. The highlight of the morning was when our Principal solemnly hoisted the National Flag as the entire assembly stood in respectful silence.
Following the unfurling of the Tricolour, we joined together to sing the National Anthem, which filled the air with pride and unity. The programme concluded with an inspiring address by the Principal, reminding us of the values enshrined in our Constitution and our responsibilities as future citizens of the nation. Sweets were distributed to all, and the celebration ended on a joyful note.

Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti was observed at our school through a speech activity to create awareness about the life and sacrifices of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Students delivered speeches highlighting his patriotism, leadership, and role in India’s freedom struggle, including the formation of the Indian National Army. The programme was informative and inspiring.

National Handwriting Day was observed at our school with active participation from students of Class I to Class VIII. The programme aimed at strengthening neat handwriting and effective written expression.
Students took part in a structured handwriting activity under the guidance of teachers. The initiative reinforced the importance of clear, disciplined, and legible writing in academic learning.

With immense pride and pleasure, Amrita Vidyalayam, Manjeri celebrated its 25th Annual Day and Silver Jubilee, on 1st January.

Sri.Njeralath Harigovindan, Ashtapadi Exponent & recipient of Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award was the Chief guest.Sampoojya Swamini Varadamritaprana, Head of Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi Mutt, Manjeri gave the felicitation. Amrita Vidyalayam, Kollam, a premier ICSE institution, marked its 27th Annual Day with a vibrant display of talent and tradition at the M.M.K. Auditorium, Karikode.
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Swami Jnanamritananda Puri (Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Amritapuri) and Bri. Satwikamrita Chaitanya (In-charge, M.A. Math, Pandalam), whose participation added a deep sense of spiritual grace to the event.

A handwriting competition was conducted on 23 January 2026 for students of Grades 1 to 8. The competition was organized by the English Department during the English periods.
Students participated with great enthusiasm. Notably, even students who usually struggled with handwriting made a sincere effort and wrote neatly, motivated by the competitive spirit.
