Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, or ‘Amma,’ is a globally renowned humanitarian and spiritual leader known for her unconditional love and self-sacrifice. For over 30 years, she has traveled the world, offering her signature embrace to millions, inspiring the global volunteer movement "Embracing The World" (ETW). Born in 1953, Amma's deep spirituality and compassion were evident from a young age, despite her humble beginnings and challenges. She founded the Amritavidyalayam School System in 1987, providing values-based education across India. Her life is a testament to her mission of uplifting humanity through love, education, and compassionate service.
