The KG Reopening Programme was held at Amrita Vidyalayam, Chavakkad on 10 June 2026 (Wednesday) with great joy and enthusiasm. The tiny tots received a warm and heartfelt welcome from the teachers and staff, making their first day at school a memorable one.

Cultural Performances and Parent Orientation

The programme commenced with a welcome speech, followed by vibrant cultural performances that entertained both the children and their parents. The Academic Coordinator, Renuka Ma'am, addressed the gathering and shared valuable guidance with the parents on preparing their children for school life and helping them adjust to the new environment.

Initiation of Knowledge and Sapling Distribution

The Initiation of Knowledge Ceremony was then conducted, symbolising the beginning of the children's educational journey. As a token of growth and learning, a sapling was presented to a parent, and saplings along with sweets were distributed to all the children.

A Happy Beginning to School Life

After the programme, the children visited their respective classrooms, met their class teachers, and became familiar with their new surroundings. The event concluded on a cheerful note, with the children and their parents returning home carrying happy memories of a wonderful beginning to the academic year.
