Amrita Vidyalayam, Edappally, celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great pride and patriotic fervour on 26th January in the school premises. The programme commenced in a dignified manner in the presence of teachers and students.
The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem, instilling a deep sense of unity and respect for the nation among all present. Our respected Principal, Dr. Manoranjani Suresh, delivered the Presidential Address, highlighting the significance of the Indian Constitution and the responsibilities of citizens in upholding democratic values. Following this, Neema Teacher delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of Republic Day and the values of freedom, equality, and unity. Students also actively participated by delivering meaningful speeches, expressing their love and respect for the country. To add colour and enthusiasm to the celebration, a graceful dance performance was presented by the students, reflecting patriotic themes. The programme concluded with a patriotic song, which filled the atmosphere with national pride and devotion.
The Republic Day celebration was a memorable and enriching experience, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the importance of being responsible citizens of India.
