Amrita Vidyalayam, Haripad observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 27 June 2026 with the aim of creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy, responsible life.

Officials from the Excise Department visited Amrita Vidyalayam, Haripad and conducted an informative awareness session for the students. Through engaging presentations and interactive discussions, they educated students on the dangers of substance abuse, the legal consequences of drug-related offences, and the importance of making positive life choices. The session also emphasized the role of students, families, and society in preventing drug abuse and promoting a drug-free community.
