Amrita Vidyalayam, Kollam, conducted a special assembly on 12 June 2026 on the theme “Children Belong in Schools, Not Workplaces.” Students of Classes 6A and 6B prepared placards, formed a human chain, and took a pledge as part of the Red Card Campaign to help eradicate child labour. The programme created awareness about child rights and supported SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 8.7: Eradication of Child Labour, reminding everyone that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, not work.
