"A Celebration of Excellence: Honouring Achievement, Gratitude, and Legacy"
The pursuit of excellence is a journey illuminated by dedication, perseverance, and the guiding hands of inspiring mentors. In a grand and memorable celebration, our school proudly hosted Merit Day 2026, a prestigious occasion dedicated to recognizing outstanding student achievements, honouring the invaluable contributions of teachers, and celebrating the enduring bond between the institution and its alumni.
The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Abdul Bassith, Excise Preventive Officer, Excise Department, Palakkad, whose distinguished presence added immense dignity and significance to the occasion. The celebration commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, invoking divine blessings and symbolizing the light of knowledge that leads every learner towards success.
The programme began with a warm welcome address, followed by a presentation highlighting the remarkable achievements of the school during the academic year.
A major highlight of the celebration was the Merit Award Distribution Ceremony, where students were felicitated for their outstanding performances. The event gained a special emotional touch through the Alumni Experience Sharing Session. Distinguished alumni returned to their alma mater to relive cherished memories and share their journeys of success.
One of the most touching moments of the programme was the Teacher Honouring Ceremony, dedicated to recognizing the tireless efforts, unwavering commitment, and selfless service of the educators who shape young minds and build futures.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Abdul Bassith congratulated the meritorious students and commended the dedication of the teachers and parents. He emphasized that true success is built upon discipline, integrity, perseverance, and a strong sense of purpose
