We are immense pride and great pleasure to announce that our school has been recognized among the Global Green School Ranking 2026 – Super 30, a distinction that reflects our institution's exceptional commitment to creating a learning environment where sustainability is embedded into governance, teaching and learning, campus operations, and community engagement. The Global Green School Excellence Awards 2026, to be presented at the Global Green Awards Ceremony, scheduled from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM during the 10th NYC Green School Conference 2026, to be held on 23–24 September 2026 at the SUNY Global Center, New York City, during Climate Week NYC.

Global Green School Ranking (GGSR) 2026, celebrating thirty outstanding schools from around the world that are leading the transformation of education through sustainability, climate action, environmental stewardship, and whole-school transformation.

The Global Green School Ranking 2026 is more than an international benchmarking initiative rooted in UNESCO's Greening Education Partnership and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it recognizes schools that have successfully integrated sustainability into every aspect of school life.

The ranking celebrates institutions that have embedded sustainability not only into our infrastructure but also into our vision, curriculum, culture, leadership, and everyday practices, creating schools that serve as living laboratories for sustainability and launch pads for future Green Leaders.

Being placed in the SUPER 30 reflects Amrita Vidyalayams unwavering commitment to nurturing environmentally responsible citizens and creating a learning ecosystem that is greener, stronger, and better for generations to come. We believe education is the most powerful tool to heal our planet, and every child at our school is being prepared to be a guardian of the Earth. This milestone belongs to our entire Amrita family.
