Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary CBSE School, Ramanathapuram, celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great pride, patriotism, and enthusiasm on the school campus.
The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, which filled the atmosphere with a spirit of unity and national pride.
The school was honoured by the gracious presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. K. Joseph Rajan, M.B.B.S., M.D., CEO and Managing Director of Rajans Hospital, Ramanathapuram. He was warmly welcomed by the management, Principal, staff members, and students.
In his inspiring address, Dr. Joseph Rajan highlighted the importance of the Constitution, democratic values, and the responsibilities of students in shaping the future of the nation. He encouraged students to pursue excellence with integrity, discipline, and compassion.
The cultural programme included patriotic songs, speeches, and vibrant dance performances by the students, reflecting the rich heritage, unity, and diversity of India. The performances were appreciated by the audience and added grandeur to the celebration.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, management, teachers, students, and parents for their valuable support and contribution in making the celebration a grand success.
