The Sports Day at Amrita Vidyalayam, Karur was a grand celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and school spirit, held on 4th of January 2025, a vibrant morning that brought together students, teachers, and parents for an unforgettable event. The entire school came alive with energy, as participants from all grades showcased their physical progress in a wide array of sports and games. 

Mr P. Sivakumar, Former ACG, TamilNadu Home Guards, Mr. S. Palaniyappan, Ex – Senior Non Commissioned officer, Smt. Smitha Shivdas, Manager, Amrita Vidyalayam, Karur and Dindigul and Principal Smt. Samundeswari adorned the stage as chief guest of the day. The event kicked off with an impressive march-past led by the school’s Head boy followed by the lighting of the torch, symbolizing the spirit of fair play and competition. The chief guest’s inspiring speech set the tone for the day, emphasizing the importance of sports in developing discipline, resilience, and camaraderie among students.
