Amrita Vidyalayam, Ramanathapuram, successfully organized a CBSE Capacity Building Programme on the theme “Happy Classroom” on 20 December 2025, in accordance with CBSE guidelines. The programme aimed to equip teachers with effective strategies to create joyful, inclusive, and student-centered learning environments.

The school was privileged to host two eminent Resource Persons:

• Mr. Sunil Kumar S, Principal, Koottalumoodu Arulmigu Bhadreswari Devasthanam School, Kanyakumari
• Mrs. Prithi V, PGT, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kadambady, Nagapattinam

The sessions were highly interactive, engaging, and insightful. The resource persons discussed important aspects such as positive teacher-student relationships, stress management, social- emotional learning, classroom engagement strategies, and the development of a supportive school culture.

Teachers from various CBSE schools actively participated in the programme and shared their experiences and ideas, making the sessions collaborative and enriching. The activities and discussions conducted during the programme encouraged reflection, interaction, and innovative approaches to classroom teaching.

The programme concluded with a feedback session and vote of thanks. The participants expressed their appreciation for the well-organized sessions and valuable insights gained through the training programme.
