A Drug Abuse Awareness Programme was conducted on 27 June 2026 to observe the World Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The aim was to educate students on the harmful effects of drugs and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
Chief Guest & Resource Person: Sri Mohan Kumar, ASI of Police, Narcotic Cell, presided over the programme and explained the physical, mental, social, and legal consequences of drug addiction using real-life examples and video clips.
Guests of Honour: Sri Darsan, Director & Smt Dhanya Darsan, Scriptwriter of _Just Remember That_, attended and shared the message of making wise, responsible choices.
Film Session: The short film _Just Remember That_ was screened and followed by an interaction with the director and scriptwriter. Short film _Surprise_, in which our student _Pranaya Prasand_ acted, was also screened to reinforce the drug-free message.
The programme was informative and inspiring. It motivated students to say "No to Drugs" and become responsible citizens committed to a healthy, drug-free society.
