Guru Poornima, a sacred occasion dedicated to honoring Guru AMMA, was celebrated with great devotion and spiritual fervor at our school on July 31. The celebration aimed to cultivate reverence, discipline, and gratitude toward the Guru tradition. The day began with the chanting of the Dhyanaslokam, followed by the recitation of the Ashtotharam, invoking the divine blessings of AMMA.

 A selected portion of the Ramayana was recited along with its Vyakhyanam, emphasizing the values of righteousness and discipline. A reflective Satsang highlighted the Guru’s role in guiding one from ignorance to wisdom. The spiritual ambiance was further enriched by the recitation of the Gurusthothram and the playing of a recorded Guru Paduka Stotram, encouraging silent reflection. Soulful bhajans created a devotional atmosphere as students from all classes, guided by their teachers, offered flowers as a mark of respect and devotion.

 The event concluded with a serene Aarti, invoking the Guru’s blessings for inner peace, wisdom, and strength. The celebration served as a spiritually uplifting experience, inspiring all to follow the path of knowledge and devotion under the guidance of the Satguru.
