Guru Purnima was observed with deep devotion and reverence at Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta, on 27 July 2026.

The celebration commenced with Samskriti Puja, followed by Bhajans and Mangala Arati, conducted under the guidance of Brahmacharini Satvikamrita Chaitanya Ji, In-charge of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Pandalam. The programme offered a spiritually enriching experience for students, teachers, and parents alike.

An award ceremony was held after the Samskriti Puja to felicitate students who achieved outstanding scores in the CBSE examinations, in recognition of their academic excellence and dedication.

A special highlight of the celebration was the Matru Puja, during which students offered prayers and expressed heartfelt gratitude to their mothers. The ceremony helped students appreciate the profound love, sacrifice, and selfless care of parents, while instilling values of gratitude, respect, humility, and compassion. It also reinforced the importance of Indian cultural traditions and the reverence accorded to parents and the Guru.

The Guru Purnima celebration was a spiritually enriching and value-oriented programme that inspired students to uphold the ideals of devotion, respect, and selfless service in their daily lives.
