On Handloom Day, the students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Thalassery, visited the Kerala Handloom Weavers Industrial Co-operative Society, Chombala. The visit provided an enriching opportunity to explore the traditional art of handloom weaving and understand the intricate process involved in creating beautiful fabrics.

The students observed the weavers at work, interacted with them and gained valuable insights into their skills, patience and dedication. The experience helped them appreciate Kerala’s rich handloom heritage and the importance of preserving traditional crafts.
