Independence Day Celebrations 2024-25

We celebrated Independence Day on August 15, 2024, with boundless enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The event honoured our brave freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation's freedom, peace, and prosperity.
This year, India commemorated its 78th Independence Day with the theme 'Viksit Bharat,' envisioning a developed India by 2047. We pledged to contribute toward fulfilling this vision.
Our respected Principal, Swamini Amma, Academic Director Sri Thirugnanam, and Head of the Physical Education Department, Sri Yuvaraj, warmly welcomed the esteemed chief guests: Sri Rajnish Diman (Subedar, 4th Battalion, NCC Officer, Mysore), Sugandi Amma, and Bri. Amartya, along with the cherished audience.
The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing unity, peace, and enlightenment, accompanied by shloka chanting by Vedic students. Our honourable chief guest, Sri Rajnish Diman, unfurled the National Flag, followed by the National Song and Anthem. A spirited and disciplined march past by the students showcased their pride and love for the nation.
The chief guest addressed the gathering with thought-provoking and insightful words, inspiring all present.
The celebration continued with a vibrant cultural program featuring:
- Scintillating dance performances
- Soul-stirring patriotic songs
- A creative fancy dress segment
- A compelling skit on freedom fighters
- A captivating yoga demonstration
Students from Pre-KG to Class 10 participated enthusiastically, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervour.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by the Shanti Mantra. The celebration was truly memorable, fostering a spirit of patriotism, unity, and harmony among all.
