Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Karkidaka Fest on 30 July 2026. The programme, organized by the students of Classes V B and II B, included a welcome speech, an introduction to the importance of Karkidakam, presentations on traditional dishes  and an explanation of their health benefits. Students from Classes I to V also displayed a variety of traditional Karkidakam dishes. The programme was informative and successfully promoted Kerala's rich cultural and food heritage.
