On 7 August 2026, Amrita Vidyalayam, Nigdi, Pune, organised a meaningful Nasha Mukt Yuva Rally at Yamunanagar with the aim of spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse and encouraging the community to embrace a healthy, responsible, and drug-free lifestyle. 

Students from Classes VIII to XII, accompanied by their teachers, participated in the rally with great enthusiasm and commitment. Carrying colourful placards and banners, the students raised powerful messages such as “Say No to Drugs,” “Choose Life, Not Addiction,” and “Together for a Drug-Free India.” 

The rally proceeded through the nearby locality under the guidance of the teachers and school authorities. Through their slogans and messages, the students highlighted the physical, mental, emotional, and social consequences of substance abuse and urged young people to stay away from harmful substances. 

The initiative provided students with an opportunity to become ambassadors of positive change. Their active participation conveyed an important message to the community—that making healthy choices, staying away from addiction, and supporting one another are essential steps towards building a safer and healthier society. 

The rally was a meaningful initiative that created awareness not only among the students but also among members of the surrounding community. It reflected the school's commitment to holistic education, social responsibility, and the well-being of young minds. 

Through such awareness-driven initiatives, Amrita Vidyalayam, Nigdi, continues to empower students to make responsible choices and contribute towards the vision of a healthy, safe, and Nasha Mukt Yuva.
