On 7 August 2026, Amrita Vidyalayam, Nigdi, Pune, organised a creative and meaningful Rangoli Making Competition as part of the “Nasha Mukt Yuva” campaign, aimed at creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse and inspiring them to embrace a healthy and responsible lifestyle.
Students from Grades VIII to XII participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and creativity. Using vibrant colours and imaginative designs, the students beautifully expressed powerful messages promoting a drug-free and addiction-free life.
The competition provided students with an opportunity to combine art, awareness, and social responsibility. Through their rangoli designs, they conveyed messages encouraging young people to stay away from harmful substances, make positive choices, and focus on their health, education, talents, and aspirations.
The activity also encouraged students to reflect on the importance of self-discipline and responsible decision-making. Their colourful creations served as visual reminders that a healthy and purposeful life is the foundation for a bright future.
The enthusiastic participation of the students reflected the school's commitment to holistic education, creativity, social awareness, and the well-being of young minds. The initiative empowered students to become ambassadors of positive change and to contribute to building a safer and healthier society.
Through such awareness-driven activities, Amrita Vidyalayam, Nigdi, continues to inspire its students to make responsible choices and actively contribute towards the vision of a Nasha Mukt Bharat.
