A Plastic-Free Society Campaign was grandly and successfully organized  at our school in collaboration with the Zilla Panchayat, City Corporation, and Department of Education.

The District Commissioner, Shri Gangadhar Swami G.M., attended the program as the chief guest and addressed the students on environmental conservation, the harmful effects of plastic usage, the need for recycling, and sustainability of resources.

On this occasion, Shri Kotresh, Deputy Director of Department of Public Instruction, Davangere , Smt. Savita (C.R.P.), the school Principal Smt. Pratibha N., vice-Principal , Shri Prateek H.S., and Principal of Amrita PU College, Shri Vivek N.C graced the event 

The guests raised awareness on the harmful impact of plastic usage and stressed the importance of cleanliness with the message: “Control plastic waste – Protect the environment and health.”

The students actively participated by collecting plastic waste and ensuring its proper disposal. Through this initiative, they were made aware of the need to adopt an eco-friendly lifestyle.

Overall, this campaign instilled a strong sense of cleanliness and environmental responsibility among students and marked a significant step towards building a healthy and clean society.
