Rainbow Day was celebrated on 7th August with great enthusiasm and joy at Amrita Vidyalayam, Koyilandy. The celebration was organised to help our little ones identify, recognise and become familiar with various colours through fun and engaging activities. 

The children came dressed in bright and colourful outfits, creating a vibrant and cheerful atmosphere. One of the highlights was the Rainbow Formation, where the children stood in seven colourful rounds, representing the seven colours of the rainbow. Each group held a matching coloured dupatta, creating a beautiful rainbow display. 

The children participated enthusiastically in songs, dance, games and interactive activities that helped them recognise and distinguish different colours. A Rainbow Colouring Competition was also conducted, giving them an opportunity to express their creativity while reinforcing their understanding of colours. 

The celebration was filled with music, laughter, creativity and colourful moments. It provided a joyful learning experience and helped the children develop colour recognition, creativity and confidence. 

Rainbow Day was truly a colourful and memorable celebration, reminding us that just as different colours come together to form a beautiful rainbow, every child is unique and special.
