Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, observed World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 with great enthusiasm and environmental awareness. The programme commenced with a prayer and lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by the Eco Club inauguration by the Principal, Ms Jisha Vijayan, in the presence of teachers and students. Furthermore, informative talks and speeches by students highlighting the importance of protecting nature and promoting sustainable living. As part of the celebration, saplings were planted on the school campus, encouraging students to nurture a sense of responsibility towards the environment. The event inspired the young minds to become active custodians of nature. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Ms Jisha Vijayan.
