Republic Day is celebrated on January 26 to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. It marks India’s transformation into a sovereign, democratic republic and honours its constitutional values. Our school celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The program began with the dignified hoisting of the national flag by the Principal, symbolizing unity, integrity, and national pride. As part of the celebrations, students enthusiastically participated in a notice board decoration competition on themes such as India’s diversity, constitutional values, and freedom fighters, showcasing their creativity and teamwork.
An inspiring speech by Keerthana of Class 7 highlighted India’s journey as a republic and emphasized the importance of democracy, equality, and civic responsibility. The celebration successfully fostered patriotism, creativity, and a deeper understanding of India’s democratic values among students, encouraging them to become responsible and active citizens.
