We celebrated Sand Play Day on 17th June with great excitement and joy. The children actively participated in various sand play activities and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
The children explored sand through activities like digging, pouring, filling containers, and making shapes. They also took part in fun games and enjoyed playing together with their friends.
A special attraction was making sand puttu using coconut shells. The children carefully filled the coconut shells with sand and happily created their own sand puttu. They were delighted to see their creations and proudly shared them with teachers and classmates.
The children also participated in a long jump activity on the sand, which added excitement and encouraged physical development. They enthusiastically took turns jumping and cheering for one another.
These activities helped develop the children’s sensory skills, creativity, fine motor skills, coordination, and social interaction. The day was filled with fun, laughter, and learning.
Sand Play Day was a memorable and enjoyable experience for all the children.
