The celebration of World Sanskrit Day was held on 19th August 2025 at Amrita Vidyalayam with great devotion and enthusiasm.

The programme began with an auspicious prayer, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp, seeking the blessings of the Almighty .Welcome speech delivered by the Sanskrit teacher.The Principal then addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of Sanskrit in our culture and heritage.

The students presented a variety of performances, including a soulful recitation, an engaging conversation, a meaningful skit, a thought-provoking speech, and a graceful dance performance. Each item showcased the richness and beauty of the Sanskrit language.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by a Student, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the celebration.

The event was a memorable one, leaving everyone inspired to uphold the legacy of Sanskrit, the language of wisdom and tradition.
