To create awareness about the rights of children and the importance of education, our school observed the World Day Against Child Labour with great enthusiasm and social responsibility. The day served as a reminder that every child deserves a childhood filled with learning, laughter, and opportunities rather than being burdened with labour.
As part of the observance, a House-wise Collage Competition was conducted for students of Classes VI to VIII. The participants showcased their creativity through impactful collages depicting the harsh realities of child labour and highlighting the importance of education, protection, and equal opportunities for every child. The colourful and thought-provoking displays reflected the students' sensitivity towards this global issue.
A Speech was also organized, providing students with a platform to express their views on child rights, the causes and consequences of child labour, and the collective responsibility of society to eradicate it. The young speakers impressed the audience with their confidence, awareness, and powerful messages advocating a brighter future for all children.
The programme successfully instilled empathy, social consciousness, and a sense of responsibility among the students. Through their participation, they reaffirmed the message that every child should be given the freedom to learn, grow, and dream.
