As part of the observation of World Bicycle Day, an awareness session on bicycle maintenance and safety was conducted for the students of Classes VII and VIII. Mr. Vinay Thaha, Bicycle Technician and a member of the Thalassery Cycling Club (TCC) and Kannur Cycling Club (KCC), was the resource person for the programme.

During the session, he provided practical guidance on the basic operation and maintenance of bicycles. The students learned about tyre inflation, brake checking and adjustment, chain lubrication, handlebar alignment, and other essential maintenance procedures. He also emphasized the importance of regular bicycle maintenance for safety, efficiency, and longevity.

The interactive demonstration helped students gain hands-on knowledge and encouraged them to use bicycles responsibly while promoting an eco-friendly mode of transportation.
The programme was informative and well received by the students.
