Our students participated in Bharat Scouts and Guides 31st District Camporee camp from December 12th to 15th, 2023. Fifty-four schools participated in the camporee, with around 1800 scouts and guides.

Our students won 1st prize in group folk dance competition, and 3rd prize in the pageant show. Master Omkar Panda of Std. VII stood first in the quiz competition. Our students also participated in the Group Yoga competition and Meena bazar show.

The camp was organised in Unit 3 Capital High School, Bhubaneswar. The team was led by Guide Teacher Ms Pravati Nayak, supported by Ms Anima Palei, Mr Sanjit Pradhan and Mr Ajit Kumar Rana.

Students and teachers of classes VI and VII visited Regional Science Centre, Bhubaneswar on 22nd December, which was filled with fun and enjoyable activities. Their class teachers guided them through various galleries which showcased exhibits in Science, Mathematics, Physics and Solar System. Demonstrations of flow of charge, projectile motion, and mirror extravaganza were shown to the students. They also had a great time bonding with nature and enjoyed various fun activities. Later, the children were served lunch, and they returned to school full of happiness and gaiety.

Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Christmas at our school in the grandest way which saw the participation of teachers, students, and parents. The entire assembly area was beautifully decorated with flowers, posters, and models. Students came to school wearing red clothes. The ceremony began with prayer. Various programs were organised one after the other. One of our teachers, Mr. Vishesh Limboo, recited a verse from the Bible, and students of Class 9 sang Christmas carols. Apart from this, our School Principal wished everyone a very happy Christmas, and gave a short motivational speech.

Amrita Vidyalayam joyfully observed Gita Jayanti on February 11, 2025, marking the completion of the course with a heartfelt celebration conducted by the Gita Parivar. The event honoured the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and its relevance in daily life. 

The highlight of the celebration was the recitation of Chapter 12 of the Bhagavad Gita by our students, filling the atmosphere with devotion and reverence. As a token of gratitude, the school felicitated the Gita Parivar teachers for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout the year. 

Our Principal addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of Gita chanting in everyday life for spiritual growth and inner strength. The event was thoughtfully organized by the teachers of Classes 3, 4, and 5, ensuring a meaningful and enriching experience for all.

On Wednesday, February 13, 2025, Amrita Vidyalayam conducted a sacred Havan to invoke divine blessings and wish good luck for students appearing for their Class X and Class XII board examinations. The ceremony was led by Bri. Rasikamrita Chaitanya and Bri. Namratamrita Chaitanya, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. 

Students, along with their parents, actively participated in the puja, offering prayers for success, focus, and perseverance in their academic journey. The sacred chants and the holy fire symbolized purification, positivity, and strength, instilling a deep sense of faith and confidence among the students.

Amrita Vidyalayam in Janla, Bhubaneswar, celebrated its Annual Function ‘SANYOG-2024’ this Saturday at its premises with vibrant student participation. The festivities started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest Dr. Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Founder Editor of The Sambad, the Chief Speaker Sri Loluck Baby, Senior Director of Academic Excellence for South India, and the Guest of Honour Sri Smrutiranjan Biswal, State Engagement Officer at NSDC, Odisha, in the presence of Bri Namratamrita Chitanya and Rasikamrita Chaitanya along with other dignitaries. This was followed by a melodious rendition of a chorus.

Mrs. Mousumi Patnaik, the Principal of the school, presented the 'Report of Achievements - 2024.' The students, teachers, and staff members were recognized for their achievements with medals and trophies. The cultural showcase included classical dance performances, a mythological musical drama, and Odia folk songs and dances.
