Children’s Day is celebrated on November 14th in India to honour Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s love for children.It is a day dedicated to celebrating childhood, happiness, and the importance of nurturing young minds. Children’s Day was celebrated at our school on November 14th with great enthusiasm and joy, commemorating the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The campus was filled with festive spirit as students dressed creatively as Chacha Nehru, and the beautifully decorated bulletin board added charm to the occasion.
National Integration Day is observed to promote unity, peace, and harmony among people of different cultures in India. It reminds us of the importance of staying united despite our diversity.

As part of instilling sportsmanship in children, Amrita Vidyalayam, Peroor, Kollam organized a School Sports Day on November 13th and 14th. Sports Day was organized on November 13th for classes 5, 6, 7 and on November 14th for classes 8, 9, 10. Sports Day competitions for children in the junior sections had already been held before this.
