Amrita Vidyalaya, Mananthavady, celebrated Umbrella Day with great joy and excitement on a beautiful rainy morning. The tiny tots of the kindergarten section carried bright, vibrant umbrellas, lighting up the entire campus with their innocent smiles. The celebration began with a fun parade where the children walked around the school premises joyfully twirling their umbrellas.

Teachers explained the importance of umbrellas and how they protect us from the rain and sun. It was a perfect blend of fun and learning, especially during the monsoon season. 

Various activities were organized to engage the little ones, including Umbrella colouring activity Craft making (paper umbrellas) and Rhymes and songs related to rain.Children participated enthusiastically and showcased their creativity and imagination.

The entire environment was filled with laughter, music, and the joyful spirit of the rainy season. The Vice Principal appreciated the efforts of the teachers and encouraged such interactive and theme-based celebrations that help young learners connect with nature and everyday objects around them.
