World Students’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Amrita Vidyalayam, Edappally, to honour the birth anniversary of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India and a great scientist who inspired millions of students. The program began with a short introduction highlighting the significance of the day and the inspiring life of Dr. Kalam, who believed that true education lies in applying knowledge in real life. To convey this message, students were engaged in an interactive activity that encouraged them to apply what they learn in their daily lives. The students who actively participated and demonstrated creativity in the activity were appreciated and awarded for their efforts.
Following the activity, a documentary short film on the life and achievements of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was screened. The film beautifully captured his journey from a small-town boy to the “Missile Man of India,” inspiring every student to dream big and work hard with dedication and humility.
