Amrita Vidyalayam, Mananthavady has always been at the forefront of nurturing compassion and service-mindedness among students. As part of its value-based education, the school regularly conducts various charitable activities and outreach programmes to instill the spirit of selfless service. 

During the academic year, several initiatives were organized: 

1. Clothes and Stationery Collection – A campaign was conducted to collect clothes, books, and school supplies, which were later distributed to children in   orphanages. 

2. Medical Awareness Programme – In collaboration with local health officials, awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare were organized for the community. 

3. Visit to Old Age Home – Students visited an old age home, spending quality time with the residents, performing cultural programmes, and offering necessary items.

4. Environmental Service – As part of seva activities, cleanliness drives were carried out in the school campus and surrounding areas. 

The Principal appreciated the active participation of students and staff, highlighting that such initiatives reflect the vision of Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, to serve society with love and compassion. These charitable programmes not only provided relief to the needy but also helped the students imbibe the values of empathy, generosity, and responsibility towards society
