Bagless Day was observed on 28th January 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students. The day aimed to provide a joyful learning experience beyond textbooks, allowing children to explore their creativity and talents in a relaxed environment. Each house was assigned a unique activity: Amritamayi House presented a skit, Anandamayi House performed a dance, Chinmay House showcased painting and drawing, and Jyotirmayi House presented a song. The event encouraged expression, teamwork, and holistic learning. Learning outcome is to promote experiential and joyful learning beyond conventional classroom methods, creativity, imagination, and self-expression among student and also to develop confidence and stage presence through performances and artistic activities. Students actively participated and expressed their ideas through art, music, dance, and drama Learners demonstrated improved confidence and communication skills. Students collaborated effectively, showing coordination and mutual respect. Children experienced stress-free learning, understanding that learning can be enjoyable and meaningful.
Bagless Day proved to be a refreshing and enriching experience for both students and teachers. The enthusiastic participation of students highlighted their hidden talents and creativity. The absence of school bags allowed learners to engage freely and joyfully, reinforcing the idea that learning extends beyond textbooks. Such activities contribute significantly to students’ emotional, social, and creative development. Overall, the day was a grand success and left students motivated, confident, and happy.
