Amrita Nursery celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great joy, devotion, and festive spirit. The day was filled with a variety of classroom activities that brought smiles to the children’s faces and helped them connect with the cultural significance of the festival. Each class participated enthusiastically. Nursery students made modaks – the favourite sweet of Lord Ganesha – using clay. This hands-on activity sparked creativity and excitement among the little ones. Junior KG students crafted Ganesh faces using paper plates, turning simple materials into vibrant representations of the beloved deity. Senior KG students took it a step further by making beautiful idols of Lord Ganesha, showcasing their artistic skills and dedication. To deepen their understanding, teachers narrated the story of Lord Ganesha, sharing interesting facts and explaining the 11-day celebration observed across the country. The storytelling session captivated the children and added a meaningful context to the activities. The students thoroughly enjoyed the celebration and were immersed in the festive mood throughout the day. The celebration concluded with the joyful chant of “Ganapati Bappa Morya!” echoing through the school and leaving everyone with hearts full of devotion and joy.
