Hiroshima Day was observed at Amrita Vidyalayam Changanassery on 6th August 2025 to mark the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. The programme reminded everyone about the tragic consequences of war and the need to work for global peace and harmony.

Students presented speeches and skits highlighting the devastation caused by nuclear weapons and the importance of promoting non-violence. Posters and charts prepared by the students emphasized the value of compassion, brotherhood, and a world without war.

Ms. Minimol P. R., Social Science faculty, addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to be ambassadors of peace and to practice kindness and tolerance in their daily lives. The programme concluded with a pledge taken by all to uphold peace and to work towards building a world of unity and harmony.
