National Handloom Day is a celebration of India's rich and diverse handloom heritage. It highlights the importance of traditional weaving techniques and supports the skilled artisans who keep these practices alive. 

On the occasion of Handloom Day the students of class VII were taken to a field visit to KHADI BHAVAN, Elanthoor Pathanamthitta,86 students and 4 teachers were participated  in the visit on 7th August 2024.  The trip aimed to educate them about the importance of khadi and its impact on people's lives. During the visit, students engaged in an interactive session with the employees, gaining a deeper understanding of khadi industry. The field visit left lasting impressions on students, instilling a sense of pride and appreciation for the hand made products. They thoroughly enjoyed the trip, and it served as a valuable learning experience.

In connection with National Handloom day celebration a house wise bulletin board presentation was made by students of classes VI, VII and VIII on 7 August 2024.  Each house was given a paired state Kerala & Tamil Nadu, West Bengal &Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh & Himachal Pradesh and Assam &Karnataka.
