Students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Kanhangad celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm by planting saplings on campus. Classes 3 to 5 took part in the plantation drive, supported by their teachers and the Principal. The event also featured a skit and a speech on environmental conservation. Younger students contributed with creative posters, making the day a meaningful and inspiring “Green Day” celebration.

The mathematical constant Pi is commemorated on Pi Approximation Day, July 22, utilizing the 22/7 fraction as a close approximation. Students engaged in interactive activities, such as measuring circular objects, crafting Pi-themed art, and solving math puzzles, to grasp Pi's importance in geometric contexts. This observance sparked curiosity, encouraged collaboration, and enhanced appreciation for mathematical concepts in a lively and engaging way.
Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, observed Kargil Vijay Diwas with patriotic fervor and deep reverence to honour the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the Kargil War of 1999. As part of the commemoration, Class IX students took the initiative to prepare an informative and vibrant bulletin board display. The display featured powerful visuals, facts about the Kargil War, and heartfelt tributes to the martyrs. A striking feature was the replica of a jawan’s uniform, symbolizing the courage, commitment, and discipline of the Indian armed forces. The display drew widespread admiration from students and teachers alike.
