The sacred Ramayana Month, observed to honor the timeless epic Ramayana and its profound teachings, was celebrated in our school with devotion, creativity, and deep cultural reverence.

Throughout the month, students engaged in daily reading and reflections on the Ramayana, exploring the life of Lord Rama and the values of truth, duty, courage, and compassion. Special assemblies were held where students recited verses (shlokas), narrated key incidents, and shared moral lessons drawn from the epic.

The celebration featured a variety of activities including Ramayana-themed skits, art competitions, quiz contests, Pathila Food Fest, Exhibition and storytelling sessions that brought the characters and teachings of the Ramayana to life in vivid and engaging ways. Many students also participated in devotional singing (bhajans) and dressed as characters from the epic for role-plays and dramatizations.

Teachers emphasized the importance of applying Ramayana’s values in everyday life — respecting elders, standing up for righteousness, and showing kindness to all. The school was decorated with symbolic artwork and inspiring quotes from the Ramayana, creating a spiritual and uplifting atmosphere.

The celebration concluded with SriRama Pattabhishekam and Mega Ramayana Parayanam.

Ramayana Month served not only as a cultural celebration but also as a spiritual journey — nurturing character, values, and pride in our rich heritage.
