We celebrated Reading Day yesterday with a variety of meaningful activities aimed at fostering a love for reading among students. The event was inaugurated by Prof. E. V. Narayanan, a distinguished academic who declared our school as an 'Akshara Vidyalayam' in our educational district.
As part of the celebration, a new programme titled ‘Amritapusthaka Dhara – One Month, One Book’ was launched to encourage consistent reading habits among students.
Students actively participated by preparing insightful speeches on the importance of the Day and creatively displaying inspirational quotes by P. N. Panicker, the father of the Library Movement in India.
