Our school celebrated Red Colour Day with immense enthusiasm and excitement, making the event a grand success and a truly memorable experience for everyone. Students of KG, Grade 1, and Grade 2 took part in the celebration held on 19th December 2024. They were in a festive mood and fun-filled cultural activities added beauty to the celebration.
The students, dressed in their favourite red outfits, showcased their creativity and sense of style, adding to the vibrancy of the celebration. The event featured a range of cultural activities, including recitations in Malayalam, English, and Hindi, as well as storytelling sessions in both English and Malayalam. The bulletin board was beautifully decorated with red-coloured objects, and students brought various red items from home to further enhance the theme.
A highlight of the day was a lively rally conducted by students and teachers, spreading joy and energy throughout the event.
The Red Day celebration was not only a fun-filled occasion, but also an enriching experience that helped our young learners develop their cognitive, motor, and social skills while enjoying every moment of the jovial celebration.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta, observed Chingam 1 as Karshaka Dinam with great respect and gratitude toward the farming community. This day holds special significance in Kerala as it marks the beginning of the Malayalam month Chingam, symbolizing prosperity, new beginnings, and the onset of the harvest season.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta, observed Ramayana Month with great devotion and enthusiasm, providing students with an opportunity to imbibe the timeless values and teachings of the epic. The month-long observance included daily Ramayanam Parayanam and Vyakyanam, offering spiritual insights and a deeper understanding of the Ramayana. A dress-up activity brought the characters of the Ramayana to life, as students creatively portrayed various roles. To further encourage active learning, a Ramayanam quiz was conducted in an engaging manner. The celebration concluded with a grand Patabhishekham ceremony of Lord Rama, followed by the reading of the Bhalasruti. The entire observance proved to be a spiritually enriching and culturally enlightening experience, nurturing devotion, moral values, and respect for India’s rich cultural heritage among the students.
