Our school joyously celebrated World Television Day with an enlightening program that highlighted the evolution, influence, and importance of television in modern society. The celebration focused on recognizing television not just as a medium of entertainment, but as a powerful tool for education, awareness, and global communication.
The event began with an informative speech by students, tracing the history of television from its invention by John Logie Baird to its transformation into smart digital platforms today. The speech emphasized how television has played a significant role in spreading news, preserving cultural identity, promoting learning, and connecting people around the world.
This was followed by a captivating PPT Presentation showcasing:
Interesting facts, visuals, and short video clips made the presentation engaging and insightful. Students also discussed how television has helped during challenging times—especially during the pandemic—by supporting online learning and public awareness.
