Swami Vivekananda's birthday, celebrated as National Youth Day on January 12th, honours the life and teachings of one of India’s most influential spiritual leaders, philosophers, and social reformers. His messages of self-belief, service to humanity, and national unity continue to inspire millions around the world.
The celebration at our school began with an inspiring speech delivered by Daksha from Class V A, who highlighted key aspects of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings:
To mark the occasion, a House-wise Bulletin Board Competition was organized, where students showcased their artistic talents and understanding of Swami Vivekananda’s vision. The beautifully decorated boards reflected the creativity and enthusiasm of each house, fostering healthy competition and camaraderie among the participants.
The celebrations were a resounding success, achieving their objectives of inspiring the students with the great monk’s life and teachings. Through this event, the students gained a deeper understanding of Swami Vivekananda’s ideals and values while imbibing a sense of unity, self-confidence, and purpose.
World Meditation Day is observed to emphasize the importance of meditation in fostering inner peace, mental clarity, and overall well-being. It encourages people to practice mindfulness for a healthier, more balanced life.
Human Rights Day is observed on December 10 to commemorate the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. It emphasizes the importance of equality, dignity, freedom, and rights for every individual.
Heartfelt congratulations to Sarayu Manoj of Class 3 for winning the bronze medal in the Khelo India Asmita Point Fight Women’s League. This remarkable achievement reflects her dedication, discipline, and passion for sports at such a young age.
