We all know that September 20th,  Saturday, is World Cleanup Day. This day holds special significance as it coincides with a week before our beloved AMMA's birthday.

To mark this special day, all Amrita Vidyalayams across the state and beyond will be organizing community cleanup activities in public spaces. This initiative is a heartfelt tribute to AMMA on her birthday.Through this noble act, we get an opportunity to put into practice the lessons AMMA has taught us about environmental protection and conservation. Let's turn this chance to serve society selflessly into a sacred mission.

 On 20th September, our school participated in the global World Clean Up Day initiative, aligning with efforts to tackle the solid waste crisis and promote sustainable practices. The cleanup drive was conducted from Kerala Kalamandalam to Cheruthuruthy Police station, involving 75 students from 8th to 10th standard.The students were guided by 7 dedicated teachers and 4 non-teaching staff members, who ensured the activity's success. The participants worked together to clean the designated area, demonstrating their commitment to community service and environmental responsibility.The Cheruthuruthy Police team extended their appreciation to the students and staff for their efforts, recognizing the importance of such initiatives in promoting cleanliness and community engagement. This acknowledgment highlights the value of collaborative efforts in creating a cleaner and healthier environment.The World Clean Up Day activity not only contributed to a cleaner environment but also raised awareness about waste management among the participants. It encouraged collective action and instilled a sense of responsibility towards maintaining public spaces.
