World Meditation Day was observed at Amrita Vidyalayam with great serenity and active participation from students. The programme was organised with the objective of promoting mental peace, concentration, and overall well-being among children through the practice of meditation.
On this occasion, students assembled calmly and participated in a guided meditation session. They sat comfortably, closed their eyes, and followed the instructions given by the teachers. The meditation focused on deep breathing and mindfulness, helping the children relax their minds and bodies. The entire atmosphere was peaceful and disciplined, allowing students to experience inner calm and focus.
The function was graced by the presence of Principal Dhanya Ma’am, who attended the programme and motivated the students. She addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of meditation in daily life. She encouraged students to practise meditation regularly to reduce stress, improve concentration, and maintain emotional balance.
Students from all classes participated sincerely and maintained silence throughout the session. Many students felt refreshed and joyful after the meditation, making the event a meaningful experience for everyone.
