Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta, observed World Mosquito Day with the objective of educating students about the harmful effects of mosquitoes and the importance of prevention. As part of the program, a bulletin board competition was organized for students in Classes VI–VIII, where they creatively presented charts, posters, and slogans highlighting mosquito-borne diseases and methods of control. An informative speech was delivered during the morning assembly, emphasizing the dangers of diseases such as malaria and dengue, while encouraging students to adopt simple preventive practices like maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings and avoiding stagnant water. The event not only enhanced awareness but also instilled a sense of responsibility among students to safeguard their health and contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment.
