World Refugee Day is observed annually on June 20th to raise awareness about the struggles and resilience of refugees worldwide. Amrita Vidyalayam in Pathanamthitta commemorated the occasion with meaningful activities designed to foster empathy and global awareness among students. During the school assembly, Nandana G. Nair delivered a thought-provoking speech that highlighted the challenges faced by refugees and emphasized the importance of compassion and support. Additionally, a Pencil Drawing Competition was held, allowing students to creatively express their understanding and concern for the refugee experience. The celebration encouraged students to reflect on humanitarian values and inspired them to become more compassionate, inclusive, and informed global citizens
