Amrita Vidyalayam Mananthavady celebrated World Sanskrit Day with devotion and enthusiasm to honour the ancient language that forms the foundation of India’s culture and heritage. The programme aimed to create awareness about the importance of Sanskrit and to encourage students to appreciate its richness and beauty.

The day began with the chanting of Sanskrit shlokas that filled the atmosphere with purity and positivity. Assembly procedures were in Sanskrit language. Students presented speeches highlighting the significance of Sanskrit as the “mother of all languages” and its contribution to literature, philosophy, science, and spirituality. 

The principal, in her address, inspired students to take pride in learning Sanskrit, quoting Amma’s vision of protecting India’s cultural values and spiritual heritage.
