The school is the enterprise and endeavour of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi and has more than fifty branches in almost all the leading cities in India. Realising the importance of a premium school offering quality education to the citizens of Bengaluru, the school was set up in Ullal Upanagar Bengaluru The school also realizes its responsibility towards the marginalized sections of society and has been admitting students from these backgrounds ever since its inception.
Amrita Vidyalaym is a non- profit organization and with every passing year the school is achieving greater heights in academics as well as co curricular activities. At present there are over two thousand students from varied backgrounds studying in the school.

School assembly witnessed an inspiring showcase of fitness and mindfulness by the students of Class 8. The presentation included a series of yoga asanas, starting with the energizing Surya Namaskara, followed by the flexible Chakrasana and the balancing Sarvangasana. The session concluded with a calming and revitalizing practice of Pranayama.
Through their graceful moves and dedication, the students reminded everyone of the importance of physical and mental harmony. Here is to embracing wellness, one asana at a time!
