Reading Day was celebrated at our school to commemorate the birth anniversary of Shri P.N. Panicker, known as the father of the Library Movement in Kerala. The day aimed to instill the habit of reading among students and promote lifelong learning. A brief speech highlighting the importance of reading was delivered in the morning assembly, followed by a reading day procession, Reading Day message, pledge taking, action songs by little ones, poem recitation etc were conducted on the same day. As part of Reading week, we have conducted a reading competition, poster competition, cover design competition, book review etc.
Breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation were also included to promote relaxation and mindfulness.The celebration highlighted the significance of incorporating yoga into our daily lives for better health, concentration, and emotional balance.
A valuable session by the Indian Dental Association, Thiruvalla Chapter in our school. Dr. Saji Kurien, Vice Chairman, IDA Kerala delivered an awareness class to our students on drugs and their effects.
Amrita Vidyalayam Thiruvalla celebrated the sacred month of Ramayana with all its austerity.
The Investiture Ceremony of the newly elected School Council was held with great dignity and enthusiasm on 17th June marking a significant occasion in the school’s calendar.
